Despite being visually impaired and coming from a rural background, Sagar Padole has achieved an outstanding 81.80% in his SSC board exams, proving that no obstacle is too great when matched with determination and support.
Sagar hails from Virkhandi village in Kuhi Mandal, Nagpur district. His parents, both farm laborers, had limited means and faced a tough choice when they realized their son needed specialized education. In a brave move, they sent him to Nagpur in Class 8 to study at a school for the visually impaired, far from home.
Staying in the school’s hostel, Sagar adapted to a new life in the city while dealing with the challenges of his disability. With the help of dedicated teachers and his own hard work, he successfully cleared the Class 10 board exams with distinction.
What makes Sagar’s achievement even more remarkable is the personal struggle behind it—living away from his parents, adjusting to a new environment, and pursuing education with limited resources. His goal now is to stand on his own feet and become a support for his family, who made great sacrifices for his future.
Sagar’s journey is a shining example of how resilience, family support, and inclusive education can change lives. His success is not just academic—it’s a story of hope for many children with disabilities in rural India.
