The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the Class 10 SSC examination results today. Students were able to check their results online from 1 PM. The state recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.10%, marking a decline of 1.71% compared to last year’s 95.81%.
This year, a total of 15,58,020 students registered for the exams held between February 21 and March 17, and 14,55,433 students successfully passed.
Nagpur Division at the Bottom with 90.78% Pass Rate
While the Konkan division topped the state with a 98.22% pass percentage, the Nagpur division recorded the lowest at 90.78%, making it the poorest performer among all nine divisions.
Girls Outshine Boys in SSC Results
Girls continued to outperform boys in the SSC examinations:
• Girls’ pass percentage: 96.14%
• Boys’ pass percentage: 92.31%
211 Students Score a Perfect 100%; Only 3 from Nagpur
A total of 211 students across Maharashtra achieved 100% marks. The division-wise tally is:
• Latur – 113
• Sambhaji Nagar – 40
• Pune – 13
• Kolhapur – 12
• Amravati – 11
• Mumbai – 8
• Konkan – 9
• Nagpur – 3
• Nashik – 2
285 Students Pass with Exactly 35% Marks
A total of 285 students scored the bare minimum 35% marks to pass the SSC examination. Division-wise figures include:
• Mumbai – 67
• Nagpur – 63
• Pune – 59
• Sambhaji Nagar – 28
• Amravati – 28
• Kolhapur – 13
• Latur – 18
• Nashik – 9
• Konkan – 0
Zero Pass Rate in 49 Schools, Including 8 in Nagpur
An alarming 49 schools across the state registered 0% pass results, meaning not a single student cleared the exams. The breakdown includes:
• Nagpur – 8 schools
• Latur – 10
• Sambhaji Nagar – 9
• Pune – 7
• Mumbai – 5
• Amravati – 4
• Nashik – 4
• Kolhapur – 1
• Konkan – 1
Strict Anti-Cheating Measures Implemented Across Maharashtra
The state education department actively implemented a Copy-Mukt Abhiyan (cheating-free campaign) and even observed a Copy-Free Week to ensure transparency.
Malpractices were reported at 37 out of 5,130 exam centres, all of which have now been disqualified.
Over 7,924 Schools Score 100% Results
On a positive note, 7,924 schools across Maharashtra reported 100% pass results, reflecting strong academic discipline and student performance.
