A 55-year-old vegetable vendor was fatally injured after a tin sheet flew off a nearby stall and struck his head during a sudden storm in the Kotwali area of Nagpur on May 21, 2025.
The incident occurred around 6:15 pm when the victim, Naresh Udaji Nanhe, a resident of Bhuteshwar Nagar near Gangabai Ghat, was selling vegetables outside Sutikagruha Hospital in Mahal. Passersby immediately rushed him to Mayo Hospital, where he was declared dead during treatment.
Following medical intimation, Kotwali Police registered a case of accidental death. Sub-Inspector Katkade is leading the investigation.
