A scary video from Nagpur is going viral on social media. It shows a venomous snake hiding inside a pillowcase in someone’s house. The snake was found late in the evening, and the video has left many people shocked and frightened.
The snake was seen crawling inside the pillow cover and later hiding between the mattress and another pillow. Luckily, a snake rescuer reached on time. Even though the snake was alert and in a defensive mood, the rescuer carefully caught it and placed it into a plastic container. The snake was later released safely back into nature.
This incident comes at a time when more snake sightings are being reported in Nagpur, especially during the rainy season. Experts say snakes often enter homes looking for dry and warm places. People are being advised to stay alert, check their beds and pillows, and call local snake catchers (Sarpmitras) if they spot any snake.
A similar video had gone viral earlier, where a deadly cobra was found under a pillow on a sofa. That clip was shared on Instagram by the user ‘@reenagarg_hr06_’ and got over 4.6 lakh likes. It reminded many people of the fear of snakes entering their homes.
