The Shri Mahalaxmi Jagdamba Sanstha premises in Koradi are set for a remarkable transformation—one that fuses spirituality with stunning craftsmanship to create a truly immersive cultural landmark. Led by the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) and supported by the DPDC fund, the project will reimagine the temple complex as a space where devotion meets design.
A majestic Darshan Bari will take shape, supported by 105 hand-carved saal wood columns and 90 finely finished beams, all polished to perfection. Along the walkway, 91 vintage-style wooden arches—reminiscent of 16th-century architecture—will add timeless charm and historical depth.
Nature-inspired elements will enrich the landscape: 13,206 sq. ft. of artificial grass over a geotextile membrane, 1,968 sq. ft. of synthetic moss, 124 lifelike GRFC trees, and 50 sculpted rocks will bring the feel of a sacred forest to life.
At its heart will stand an awe-inspiring 12-meter-tall artificial mummified tree, complete with authentic root structures and lush foliage—a stunning centerpiece for a dedicated selfie zone. This area will also feature an intricately carved artificial wooden wall and 15 decorative GRFC pots.
Captivating bronze sculptures, crafted using the ancient lost-wax method, will symbolize power and grace—a soaring eagle, a cobra, a panther, a deer, and two 7-ft pink marble lions guarding the sanctum.
Adding a whimsical touch, 25 artistic birds will be perched throughout the grounds. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create not just a temple, but an unforgettable journey through devotion, nature, and art.
