Tiaana Thakkar, a promising young athlete from Centre Point School International, showcased her skills on the court at the AITA Under‑12 CS7 Tennis Tournament, hosted by the Indore Tennis Club. Teaming up with partner Gargi Oak, Tiaana dominated the girls’ doubles category, defeating Anaya Rathi and Devina Dhupar in straight sets, 7‑5, 6‑1, in an impressive final display .
The duo’s commanding form was evident from the semifinals, where they outclassed Eva Mangrola and Ediva Dhakad with a convincing 6‑1, 6‑0 victory. Despite her doubles triumph, Tiaana narrowly missed the singles crown. She stormed into the final by defeating Amayra Gupta 6‑2, 6‑1 in the semis and overcame Aradhya Pawar 6‑3, 6‑2 in the quarterfinals, before succumbing to her doubles partner, Oak, in two sets (2‑6, 2‑6).
Tiaana’s development has been guided at NDHTA Ramnagar by coaches Navin More, Vishal Langde, and Jai Joseph—a coaching trio she credits for her success .
