After the successful completion of the ‘Swapna-Niketan’ project—comprising 480 Economically Weaker Section (EWS) housing units—Sandeep Dwellers Pvt. Ltd. (SDPL), in partnership with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), proudly held the handing over ceremony of the homes to beneficiaries under the Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) component of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
The grand handover ceremony was held on 22ndJune 2025 in the august presence of Hon’ble Shri Devendraji Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, along with Revenue Minister Shri ChandrashekharBawankule, Minister of State Shri Ashish Jaiswal, NMC Commissioner Shri Abhijit Chaudhari, and other senior officials from Government of Maharashtra and Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
Strategically located at Mouza Wanjara, Nagpur—just 7.8 km from Zero Mile Stone and well within the city limits—the project embodies the government’s vision of “Housing for All.” Spread across 8 wings of 60 units each, with 7 floors per building, each home has been thoughtfully designed to offer functionality, durability, and dignity. Each wing is equipped with essential facilities such as a dedicated society room, fire room, solar water heaters, and solar-powered electricity for common areas. The beautifully planned project also features a spacious community hall, landscaped garden, generator backup, Tar roads, an efficient water drainage system, and a fully functional Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), ensuring a clean and self-sustaining living environment.
As a responsible and quality-focused developer, SDPL went beyond the mandated scope and provided several value-added enhancements at no additional cost to beneficiaries, including Granite in lobbies (instead of Kota stone), Granite kitchen platforms (instead of Kadappa stone), 80 KW solar electricity system for common meters, Automatic lifts (instead of manual lifts), Durable stone window sills, A dedicated 1,100 sq. ft. community hall, Upgraded Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) capacity from 160 KLD to 300 KLD
