Jhansi Rani Mardani Akhada, under the banner of Megha Star Sports Association, has launched a free month-long coaching camp focused on traditional Indian martial arts. The training sessions are being held at the basketball ground in Swaraj Nagar Garden, near Hanuman Mandir.
The camp offers instruction in age-old self-defence techniques using weapons such as lathi-kathi (stick fighting), sword, bhala (spear), and dandpatta (gauntlet-sword). Open to students aged 5 years and above, the initiative aims to promote the spirit of “My Security in My Hands” by encouraging self-reliance and physical preparedness through India’s cultural heritage.
Sessions are scheduled daily from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Interested participants can reach out to arena head Yogita Bhute for enrollment and further details.
