Noted singer Honey Singh has sought permission from the Sessions Court Nagpur to go abroad for his live concerts. He has several concerts lined-up in four countries in February and March. Honey Singh, who is extremely popular among youths for his foot tapping music, is currently on bail from the sessions court. The bail was granted to Singh on condition that he will not leave the country without prior permission from the court.
Honey Singh had planned shows in Thailand, which he had to cancel these shows after he did not get permission to leave the country.
Now, he has sought permission to travel to Dubai from February 5-10 and Australia from March 1-31. Several other concerts are also lined up for which he needs permission from the court. He has also filed an application in the sessions court through his lawyer. Court has sought reply from the police on his plea. Last year, on April 26 city based traders Anandpal Singh Jabbal had lodged complaint against Honey Singh and Badshah with Panchpaoli police station over vulgar content in their songs. Police have booked both the singers under section 67 and 67 A of the IT Act. Sessions court had granted bail to both.
