Every year CBSE organises science exhibition for school students from all over India. It is a very prestigious moment for Bhavans Ashti that both their models were selected for national level CBSE science exhibition, which will be held at Mayoor School, Noida from February 7 to 9, 2019. The first project entitled “Synthesis and characterisation of Graphite Nano-particles prepared from tea powder waste,†under Resource Management theme. Students who prepared this innovative model are Sparsh Badjate and Tejas Masne.
The second project entitled as,†Comparative study of compost prepared by tea powder and eggs shell waste and their impact on growth of plants,†under Waste Management theme. Students who prepared this innovative model are Ram Narayan Choudhury and Naman Jaisingh.
This is the 5th consecutive year that Models from Bhavans Ashti have been selected for CBSE National level science exhibition. The students have been awarded with certificates and selection letters. Both the projects showed how tea waste powder can be used in a productive way. One team has prepared graphite nano-particles and the other has prepared compost. They performed under the guidance of physics teacher, Samir Khule (PGT Phy). Principal, Vandana Bisen congratulated the students and teacher In-charge for this phenomenal achievement.
