By the virtue of first innings lead, Madhya Pradesh defeated host Vidarbha to win Central Zone Under-14 Rajsingh Dungarpur Trophy at VCA Kalamna ground.
BattingÂ first , Madhya Pradesh scored 240 runs and in reply Vidarbha youngsters could managed to score only 141 runs.
Madhya Pradesh declared their second innings on 219 runs thereby setting a target of 318 runs to Vidarbha. Vidarbha managed to score 25 runs for no loss in the second innings.
Assistant General Manager Cricket Operations, BCCI KVP Rao was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Along with, VCA executive committee member, Alhad Gokhale, CEO, Farokh Dastoor were prominently present.
Vidarbha’s Vedant Ingle who scored 307 runs was declared best batsman whereas best bowler prize went to Vidarbha’s Pratham Maheshwari who took 14 wickets. Shree Choudhary, also grom, Vidarbha was adjudged as best all-rounder with 136 runs and seven wickets in his kitty.
