GHRCEM, Amravati organises an e-learning workshop for faculties

Training program and two day’s E-learning workshop ‘Moodle’ recently at premises. It was based on boost up the knowledge of faculty. Event conducted by the department of Computer Science and Engineering. All the faculties from various departments had participated on it. The program arranged under the guidance of Dr. Maheshkumar Yenkie Vice-Chancellor GHRU, Amravati and Dr. Vijay Rathod Dean Principal, GHRCEM. Trainer Mr. Lalit Dole gave brief information about ‘Moodle’ in first day training session than Prof. Achamma Thomas explained the working techniques of it .He also an explained the scope and importance of Moodle in education field.

He told that Moodle is a free and open source learning management system. It is used for blended learning, distance education, flipped classroom and other e-learning projects in Colleges, Universities and other workplaces. It is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised or customizable learning environments.

The other sessions conducted by Prof. Sneha Bohra, HoD CSE department and Prof. Prashant Adakane. They had gave technical and practical knowledge of moodle. This training was very much beneficial for faculties to developing their learning style as well as teaching aspect. Event successfully coordinated by Prof. Ankita Datir.
