In a major development, The Maharashtra State Board of Education has decided that it will not provide two separate answer sheets for Biology paper. Similarly, the Commerce stream students appearing for Botany and Zoology will also have to write the answers on the same answer sheet.
Giving the reason for the move, the board officials said that the syllabus and the question paper pattern of class HSC biology has been changed from this year and there will be only one paper of 80 marks.
Till the March 2018, the Biology paper was held in two different sections that of Paper 1 and Paper 2 with each carrying 40 marks, and the students were required to write the answers in two answer sheets that will not be the case now.
According to board official, they have already informed all the center in-charges about said changes and appealed to the students concerned to take note of the new change to avoid any confusion during the paper.
