The prize distribution ceremony of National Painting Contest organised by Abhiruchi Foundation was organised recently. The top three winners got cash prize of Rs. 7,000, Rs.5, 000 and Rs.3000, respectively. The budding artistes received awards at the hands of noted painter Prakash Betwar in the presence of Mahesh Mokha of Abhiruchi Foundation.
The competition was organised in two categories – Age 5-7 years and 7-10 years. The event was inaugurated by Mayor Nanda Jichkar. Children from various schools took part in the competition.
Pramod Deshmukh, Ganesh Billa, Sadanand Chaudhary, Subhash Sharma, Sanjay Deshpande, Sandip Shirkhedkar and other members of Abhiruchi Foundation were prominently present at the occasion.
