“Gotala Samrat Lalji†a hilarious stage drama was organised by Gujarati Rangmanch at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall, recently. The stage play was sponsored by Sunrise Infrastructure.
The drama was based on Lalji, who is a wicked branch manager of a company. Lalji is a dishonest employee and has done many scams and ghotalas’ in the company. The owner of the company is not aware of the various fraudulent activities that are taking place in that branch of the company.
However, the incidents that take place in the act are knee- slapping. The audience was on a laughter roller coaster during the play.
Writer, Kamlesh Wasani and Director, Ramesh Lakhmapure have done an outstanding job in staging the play. Music was given by Abhikit; Tarun Suchak was the Lyricist while Janhvi Kataria and Yogesh Patel were the vocalist.
Kapil Ramani, Nikita Patel, Kirti Patel, Bharat Patel, Jai Gala, Jaishree Thakkar, Bhaskar Dave and Diksha Patel gave an amazing performance.
