Vidarbha-level bodybuilding competition on March 3

Avi’s Fitness Studio in association with Sane Nutrition, Stree Shakti Vikas Charitable Trust and MOIL is organising Vidarbha-level Bodybuilding Competition on March 3 at Gandhibagh garden from 5 p.m. onwards.

Mayor Nanda Jichkar will inaugurate the competition in  the presence of Divyang bodybuilder from Punjab Shyam Singh Shera, Mahanagar Sanghchalak Rajesh Loya, former Navy Officer Jayant Hirkare, Dr Kalpana Jadhav, MD of Sane Science Nutrition Prit Pal Singh Bhanot, Shreerang Thergaonkar, Sandeep Sheoran, Piyush Ambulkar and Dr Sambhaji Bhonsale.

Total prize money for the event is around Rs 2.45 lakh and more than 150 bodybuilders from all over the Vidarbha are expected to participate. The competition will be orgnaised in six weight categories including below 60 kg, 60 to 65 kg, 65 to 70 kg, 70 to 75 kg, 75 to 80 kg and above 80 kg.

The first five winners in each category will get cash prizes of Rs 11,000, Rs 7,000, Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively.

The winner in each section will qualify for the champions of champion round. The champion will be awarded Rs 31,000 whereas the runners-up will get Rs 11,000. Apart from it the best poser will be awarded Rs 11,000. Trophy and cash prize will be given in men’s best physique category also.
