One Day International (ODI) cricket match between India and Australia will be played at Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA), Jamtha Stadium on March 5.
The day and night match will begin at 1.30 pm on Tuesday. VCA is all set for an interesting match. Preparations are in full swing to make the event a grand success.
The teams will be arriving on March 3 at 1:45 pm from Hyderabad. Indian cricket team will be accommodated at Hotel Raddison Blu while Australian players will be staying at Hotel Le Meridan.
The entry for the audience on the match day will be open from 10 am. Total 4400 tickets are reserved for school students while 100 tickets for differently abled and their companions at concessional rate of Rs.100 per ticket, sources said.
Schools interested to book mass tickets, must mention date of birth of the students, school identity cards and total number of students. If by chance the tickets are to be redeemed then the same ID must be provided with date of birth proof. Id ‘s will be  mandatory for the students at the stadium without which they will not be allowed to enter inside the stadium.
VCA has requested to the public to not carry any item that has been mentioned as unacceptable on the tickets and not to pass any offensive comments on the players or spectators present at the stadium.
Objects like food packets, helmets, selfie sticks, cameras, water bottles, cigarettes, lighters, match boxes etc are not allowed in the stadium. Free water will be available inside.
President, VCA, Anand Jaiswal is the match director, while Ranjeet Paradkar and Naim Razzaque will be the Local Liasion Officers for the teams.
VCA has made adequate parking arrangements for the public free of cost near the stadium.
