G.H. Raisoni Vidyaniketan

To instill the scientific temperament in the students’ GHRV conducts Science Wizard-Inter-school Science quiz contest every year. This year too G.H. Raisoni Vidyaniketan had pre- celebration of National Science day, recently with great zeal and enthusiasm to commemorate the occasion of Raman effects. Many schools from Nagpur had participated in this contest. Amongst 36 teams 5 teams qualified in preliminary round to contest for the beautiful trophy.

Falgun Sukija and Eshan Sarda of Centre Point (Katol) School bagged the honor of first position where as Nitanshu Butada and Soham Dange from Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar got 1st runners up trophy. Second runners-up trophy was bagged by Vedant Lakra and Sharvil Kolhe from SOS Wanadongri.

Earlier the program was inaugurated by the lighting of the traditional lamp and prayer followed by the speech of Chief Guest of the program an eminent Environmentalist of the city, Anusuya Kale Chabbrani, who was awarded the ‘Real Heroes of Nagpur’ by Times of India for the initiatives of Swacch foundation.  In her speech Mrs. Chabrani urged to the students to involve in basic Science to lay a strong foundation for the progress of our nation and simultaneously protect environment for the sake of mankind.

Addya Khasne a student of STD XI and Mrunalini Akhade from STD IX played the role of Quiz Masters.

Chairman, Sunil G Raisoni and Principal of the School, Jayshree Bhake, congratulated the winners.

Sohini Das , Vandana Singh,  Ranjana Pathak and Shilpa Nandulkar worked hard under the guidance of Vice Principal Neeta Mukherjee to make the program a successful one.
