“Pranav†Early Intervention Centre for Young Hearing Impaired Children an initiative of Gangadharrao Chitnavis Trust organized its annual day function recently at Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines.
Mamta Bopinwar, teacher welcomed all guest and she started program.
The program was graced by Milind Chitnavis (Managing Trustee – Chitnavis Trust), Rajlaxmi Chitnavis, Ashlesha Chitnavis,.Awantika Chitnavis, Neeta Kale Trustees – Chitnavis Trust and other Trust Volunteers, associated doctors and professionals.
Jai Joshi, Project Coordinator, enlightened those present, about the highlights and overview of 2018-19 of “Pranav†and the progress of the Centre.
Vijaya Mohurle and Nutan Shegaonkar conducted cultural program.
The students participated in various cultural dances, rhymes, fancy dress. Parents also took part in the event. Atul Tyadi father of Rugved Tyadi and Sujata Munjewar grandmother of Arnav Munjewar shared their experiences and their anxiety upon discovering their child having hearing loss, as well as their struggle to get proper training to their child, and thereafter their joy of having admitted their child to “Pranavâ€.
Prize and certificate were distributed by Rajlaxmi Chitnavis (Trustee) and Milind Chitnavis (Managing Trustee) to all children.
Swati Yeutkar, teacher proposed the vote of thanks. She thanked the donors who have contributed to the Centre in cash and kind.
