Drishti Learning Center had organized the Helen O’ Grady, 11th Annual Drama Fest 2019 on March 03, at Veterinary College Auditorium, Seminary Hills, Nagpur.
Helen O’ Grady International – The Edu Drama Academy is a globally recognized personality and communication skill development academy. The self-development programs that this international organization offers are highly enlightening and extremely effective.
The lively classes of this program take interaction among children to a whole new level, enabling them to have a greater sense of participation. Not just this but the kids are able to recognize their hidden potential as they achieve an enhanced level of vocabulary, self-esteem, confidence and enthusiasm. Special attention has been paid to the creation of the drama syllabus at Helen O’ Grady, which pushes children beyond their emotional and academic limits.
At present, over 100,000 students attend the Helen O’ Grady classes across 1400 locations spanning 40 countries. The choice of many school and college principals, teachers and other educationists, this program is designed for children aged 3 to 18 years. Throughout the program, the special focus was on enhancing the child’s overall capabilities that will make him/her stand out from the crowd. The vibrant atmosphere promotes voluntary participation, thus achieving holistic development of every child.
The year 2018 -19 saw a huge number of plays of various genres, staged by Helen O’ Grady – The Edu Drama Academy. The play ‘The Kidnaping Of Kity O Hara’ captivated the audience with the suspense created, whereas ‘The Triumph Of Trevor Truelove ’ reflected truelove by budding actors. ‘Paradesia†along with “How the Lion got his roar†and “Story Land†enthralled and fascinated with past memories. ‘Space Cruiser Five†took the audience on a roller coaster ride in the future. The kids played their parts extremely well, bringing characters to life on the stage.
Over 300 students participated in the drama program and gave enthralling performances. The matchless poise with which the children carried themselves and their effervescent confidence spoke volumes about the huge transformation made by them. They looked ethereal in their authentic costumes and received huge rounds of applause by the audience.
Helen O’Grady drama activities are designed to enhance as well as increase communication skills, social skills and confidence among children. Ideally, they should be encouraged to attend the program for at least three years as it gives them an escalating benefit, but a minimum of one year should also produce positive results. The dynamic learning environment and skilled and enthusiastic teachers make our yearlong program a huge success.
In addition to the Helen O’ Grady Drama Program, Drishti Learning also offers three international yearly programs namely Fastrackids, I- Math and Dino Art which cater to children from age 3 to 18 years.
Director Drishti Learning, Megha Vivek Agrawal, organized the 11th Annual Drama Fest 2019. The teachers of Helen O’ Grady, Rekha Rahate , Chahak, Lavin, Batul and Dolly worked hard for the success of the event.
