NSUI activists stage protest over missing money from RTMNU

The activists of NSUI on Tuesday led by Ajit Singh, Abhishek Singh, Aamir Nuri and Pratik Kolhe staged demonstrations demanding thorough probe over missing amount of lakhs of rupees from the examination centre of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU).

During the demonstrations, the NSUI activists shouted slogans. Meanwhile, Controller Examinations Dr Neeraj Khati, who was present on the occasion, informed the police.  The NSUI activists raised question over security of the university and the CCTV system. They further raised questions about the private agency Promark saying Promark employees enter the examination centre without permission. When asked, the Controller Examination could not provide any answer to this fact, they alleged. They further putforth several questions regarding Promark’s jurisdiction, its office, and its credibility.

Holding Vice-Chancellor Siddharth Kane, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Pramod Yeole and Registrar and Controller Examination Neeraj Khati responsible for the entire episode, the NSUI activists demanded their resignations and further lodged a complaint against them with Ambazari police station. They have demanded a thorough probe into the matter.

Shadaab Shofi, Pradip Kumar Prasad, Shubham Waghmare, Pranay Thakur, Sandeep Jain, Dada Bhoyar, Nikhil Wankhede, Kunal Chaudhary, Karan Thakur, Ravi Raj, Harsh Nandre, Aniket More, harsh Selukar, Vaibhav Giri, Parimal Abruk, Bhavesh Patel and others participated in the agitation.
