Women while discharging their professional duties perform multiple roles successfully, said Chairperson; Nagpur Metro Region Development Authority (NMRDA) and Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) Shital Teli-Ugle. She was speaking at a programme organised at NIT office to mark International Women’s Day on Friday.
Women are shouldering responsibility equally to men at home and office too, she said. Women should always perform their duties in office sincerely and take a lead role, she appealed. Women’s work has always helped the society and they have played an instrumental role in social work, she remarked. There is a need to create a society wherein there would be no need to celebrate women’s day in future, she opined.
Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Supriya Jadhav, Public Relations Officer and Secertary Kalpana Gite, Assistant Law Officer Priyanka Irkhede and a large number of women officials and employees were present on the occasion.
