Swarved has organised a musical programme ‘Madhubala se Madhuri’ on March 9 to mark International Women’s Day in a unique and special way, at Sai Sabhagruha, Shankar Nagar, at 6.30 pm.
Chairperson, Women and Child Development Committee, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Pragati Patil along with Director, Modern School, Neeru Kapai will be the chief guest at the event. Swarved will felicitate some of the eminent women from educational, social and cultural fields on the occasion.
Female singers Ashwini Luley, Pratiksha Pattalwar, Deepali Sapre, Pallavi Damale, Sharmila Charalvar, Rachana Mahajan, along with Rucha Yenurkar, Padmaja Sinha, Megha Hardas and Seema Sonule will be presenting songs at the event. Male singers include Dhiraj Aatey, Amol Kukarni and Rakesh Sharma.
The singers will present a number of songs of legendary actresses like Madhuri Dixit, Madhubala, Mina Kumari, Minakshi Sheshadari, Mumtaz and many more songs of evergreen beauties of Indian cinema.
The musicians team include Ravi Safale on tabla, Pawan Manwatkar on synthesizer, Vinit Kamble on dholak, Tusha Vinghe on minor and Prakash Chawhan on guitar.
Shweta Shelgaonkar will compere the programme. The event is open and free for all.
