G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology (GHRAET) had organised a three-day faculty skill training programme on ‘Internet of Things’ from 27th to 29th May, 2019.
In the changing world scenario with regards to industry and the job market, there is now an overpowering need of IoT. It opens an ocean of opportunities for technology providers, vendors, engineers. Today billions of devices are connected to the Internet in what we call the ‘Internet of Things’ or ‘IoT’.
The aim of this training programme was to enlighten various techniques and concept of IoT, how and why IoT and IoT tools and IDEs, pros and cons. Also the training provides opportunities for technology providers, vendors, Engineers and academician. There are also serious challenges that were addressed to maximise the potential benefits.
Total 20 participants were present during the training programme. The training programme was organised by Prof Amit Pimpalkar, Prof Vipin Bhure and Prof Satish Pusdekar from GHRAET, Nagpur. They also demonstrated ARDUINO basic with board description and installation.
They also gave ideas about ARDUINO hands-on programme structure with functions, strings and arrays. Faculties from various institutions under RGI group were benefited from the programme. Prof Tejpal Parshiwnikar coordinated the program under the guidance of Dr Vivek Kapur, Principal, GHRAET and Dr Achal Shahare, HoD Mechanical Department organiser of STTP.
