The swimmers of Aqua Sports Club brought laurels to the city by excelling in different age groups at the 36th Sub-Junior & 46th Junior State Aquatic Championship 2019 organised by Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association and conducted by Nashik District Amateur Aquatic Association at Nashik.
Representing Aquatic Association Nagpur (AAN) the swimmers of Aqua Sports Club gave their excellent performance to steal the show by winning plenty of medals at the above in different age groups.
The medal winners include Siddhant Bodele (gold medal in 100 Mts. breaststroke), Sanjana Joshi (silver medal in 800 Mts. freestyle), Sanika Kawde (silver medal in 200 Mts. backstroke),  Snehal Joshi  (3rd in 200 Mts. freestyle),  Manthan Patki  (3rd in 100 Mts. butterfly), Yashashree Dhole (3rd in 100 mts. butterfly),  4×200 mts. freestyle relay girls secured 3rd place with the time 12:13.35 sec.
The team consist of Sanika Kawde, Sanjana Joshi, Yashashree Dhole  and Akshata zade.
Siddhant Bodele (gold medal in 50 Mts. breaststroke), Manthan Patki  (silver medal in 50 Mts. freestyle), Vedant Aniwal (silver medal in 4×100 Mts. freestyle ), Sanjana Joshi (silver medal in 400 Mts.fFreestyle ), Snehal Joshi (silver medal in 400 Mts. freestyle ), Sanika Kawde (silver medal in 100 Mts. backstroke), Aditri Payasi (3rd in 50 Mts. butterfly).
The above swimmers gave the credit of their success to NIT Swimming Pool Authority for their kind support and providing the wonderful swimming facility. The swimmers regularly practice under the able guidance of NIS coach Dr. Pravin Lamkhade  and Vishal Chandurkar.
