Hemp plastic is the future of polythene materials or we can say that looking at the harmful events happening around us due to the use of plastic, it should be the future we should adapt.
We are not unaware of the oil-based plastics that we are using in the present time is the most harmful product humans have ever made after nuclear power. These plastics are non-degradable and deposit of such plastic waste takes thousands of years to dissolve in soil.
Animals around the world are suffering by either getting trapped in plastic waste or choking due to consumption of plastic. It has its effects on both the land and to the aquatic animals, as fishes are reported dying on the coast having their stomach full of plastic.
Plastic pollution is destroying our planet by the minute. In fact, so much plastic is thrown away each year it could circle the earth four times. And these numbers are on the rise.
Humans have a habit of challenging the complexes or their inferiority which is almost unstoppable. So instead, why not challenge your limitations in a smart way.
Hemp plastic is not only replaceable but it also light in weight, biodegradable and has an important role in reducing the greenhouse effect. The hemp plastic locks down the carbon and hence reduces the carbon footprint.
In the right environment hemp plastic takes around 3-6 months to decompose. This is astonishing in comparison to conventional plastics. Hemp plastic can also be recycled indefinitely. While petroleum-based plastic can be recycled, because this type of plastic is chemical-laden, it is a toxic process. Conventional plastics that are recycled still leak harmful substances into the environment such as BPA.  Plastic made from hemp avoids these toxins completely.
Hemp plastic is made out of cellulose which is left after removing the fibers out of hemp stems. The hemp plants also grow in no time and hence can be produced in large numbers to meet the needs of the world.
Renowned companies such BMW, Bugatti have already accepted the difference and started manufacturing using this material.
It is about our health and all the living things around us and also about protecting our Earth for future generations.
