AÂ two day awareness workshop on Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) and National Programme on Technology Learning (NPTEL) has been organized at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur on July 19 and July 20. The workshop is jointly organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cells of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) in association with NPTEL, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
The objective behind the workshop is to increase the awareness about the indigenous online learning platforms SWAYAM and NPTEL and the importance of MOOC’s among the fdacilty members across the institutions under RTMNU, Nagpur and in the surrounding geographical region of Nagpur. During the workshop, information about open on;linbe courses on these platforms, various formats, text transcription, credit transfer schemes, joint collaborations between the institutes and industries with SWAYAM –NPTEL will be given. Industry personnel, faculty members related to teaching in engineering, medical sciences, arts, education, commerce, pharmacy, management disciplines can attend the workshop.
