Independence Day was celebrated with great gusto at all the units of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) on Thursday.
At the central function held at the company headquarters, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, Chairman, Managing Director, hoisted the national flag.
Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar, SM Chowdhury, Manoj Kumar, Ajit Kumar Chowdhury and representatives of labor unions S.Q. Zama, CJ Joseph, Saurabh Dubey, Sudhir Ghurde, Shiv Kumar Yadav were present on the occasion.
After the flag hoisting ceremony, RR Mishra accepted the salute given by the WCL security guard and ad then addressed the members of the WCL team.
