Women Cell of Dharampeth M.P. Deo memorial Science College organised a guest lecture on the topic: ”Role of girls in nation-building” recently.
The guest speaker of the event was Shruti Deshpande, Scientific officer at Spandan heart clinic, Nagpur. The program began with lighting the lamp at the hands of dignitaries seated on the Dias namely Vice Principals of senior and junior college Dr. Archana Kulkarni and Vinaya Kashikar, Shruti Deshpande and Convener Dr. Shraddha Deshpande.
At the beginning of the program, the guest speaker was introduced to the audience by Dr. Shraddha Deshpande convener of the program and later she was welcomed by giving the Sapling at the hands of Dr. Archana Kulkarni Vice-Principal of the college. The opening remarks were also presented by the Vice Principal Dr. Kulkarni.
Shruti in her lecture gave inspiring examples of how small things are done with passion can help you in making our country proud. She urged the girls to come forward with at least one good innovative idea that will help in contributing towards nation-building. Her lecture was interesting and girls became motivated by her talk.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Jawade. The entire event was anchored by Ms.Priyanka Ganorkar. Other members of women cell Dr. Paturkar, Mrs. Kanhe, Mrs. Wannere worked hard for the success of the event. Other Staff members were also present in large numbers.
The principal of the college Dr. Akhilesh Peshwe and Advocate Ulhas Aurangabadkar President of Dharampeth education society conveyed their best wishes for the program.
