BVM Shrikrishnanagar Girls Reign Supreme | Nagpur Sports News

BVM Shrikrishnanagar girls overcame St Ursula High School 3-1 via tie-breaker to win Inter-School Under-14 Football Tournament organised by DSO at Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur ground here on Saturday.

Both the teams failed to break the deadlock during the regulation time. In tie-breaker, Mehak Mishra, Mahi Shukla and Kamisha Ramka scored the goals for BVM. For St Ursula only Lichi Wankhede succeeded in scoring the goal.

In Under-17 category quarterfinal, St Ursula blanked Sandipani School 1-0. Kalyani Kumbhare scored an all-important goal in the fifth minute.

SFS entered the semis defeating Centre Point School Wardhmannagar 3-1 via tie-breaker. The regulation time didn’t witness any goal. Therefore a tie-breaker was enforced in which Mahek, Vipra and Khushi scored the goals for SFS. For Centre Point School, Jiya was the only goal scorer.

St Anthony made it to the semis defeating St Vincent Pallotti 1-0. Mehak Sheikh scored the winning goal in the 27th minute. Kurvery’s team got walkover as their rivals didn’t turn up.
