Mechanical Engineering Forum installed at VIT

Department of Mechanical Engineering, of Vidarbha Institute Of Technology(VIT), has celebrated re-installation ceremony its Forum “MESA (Mechanical Engineering Students Association)” recently. MESA enables students to enrich their knowledge about new technology, innovations and research in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Inauguration was followed by a speech from Dr. Sanjay Uttarwar Principal VIT. He has talked about the various opportunities in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The session was highly interactive. He had explained Industry expectations from the college students which was very informative for the students. He made the session very interactive by giving group exercise. The second speaker was Prof. Vaibhav Bankar, Head Of Mechanical Engineering Department he delivered a talk on “basic aim of MESA”. The focus of the talk was mainly on how to enrich students of Mechanical Engineering with different qualities to add new dimensions to their career.

Organizers of the forum conducted many events such as “Technical Quiz”, “Technical pick and speech”, “Pictionary”, ”Decryptathon” and “Wordworth”. Students of all the semester participated actively and won many prizes.

Mr. Jitesh.N. Maheshwari Chairman, VIT, Dr. Pooja Maheshwari Secretary, VIT along with Dr. G.S. Natrajan Director and Dr. Sanjay Uttarwar Principal, VIT had appreciated the students of VIT.
