On November 26, “Constitution Day” was observed across the country. On November 26, 1949, the Constitution was brought before the Indian Constituent Assembly. On this day the Constituent Assembly was adopted.
That is why every year in the country, November 26 is observed as Constitution Day. This year was the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
On this occasion “Constitution Day” was also celebrated at South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur, where all the officials and employees of the Center read the Preamble of the Constitution.
