A proud moment for city as gynecologist Dr Madhvi Sangolkar Ambhore, Consultant at Wockhard Hospitals has been crowned as the 2nd runner-up Mrs Maharashtra- Empress of Maharashtra at a state-level pageant, the Empress of Maharashtra season 4, held at Pune.
The event was organised by DIVA pageants. Dr Madhavi also won the title of Mrs Maharashtra Mrs timeless beauty award and adjudged as the best dressed participant.
From over 2000 auditions, fifty finalists were shortlisted. Jury Members for Grand Finale at Hyatt, Pune were celebrities Varsha Ujgaokar, Gulshan Grover, Zoya Afroz and Dr Suhani Mendonsa, Director, Yellow Spider events.
Dr Madhavi gives the credit of her success to her mentors Karl Mascerhanes, the founder directors of Diva pageants and Anjana Mascerhanes, who is India’s premier as well as international pageant coach.
And she owes her success to her husband Dr Ashish Ambhore who is neurovascular interventional radiologist. She is daughter of Dr Narendra and Lalita Sangolkar and daughter-in-law of late Dr Niwas Ambhore and Pushpa Ambhore.
