A noble cause indeed, as it has been reported that a nature walk had organised by the Office of Accountant General (Audit)-II, Maharashtra recently.
The walk is started from the office premises located in Civil Lines to Seminary Hill, Japanese Garden and surroundings areas and back between 4pm to 5.30pm the other day where in, all the staff of the office including the officers participated with enthusiasm.
The walk was mainly meant to increase the fitness and to provide relaxation to the stress levels of over stimulated minds due to the mundane office works. Recreation Club of the Office of Accountant General (Audit)-II, Maharashtra organised the nature walk while Welfare Wing co-ordinated the programme. Accountant general (Audit) Hema Munivenkatappa flagged of nature walk.
As per information, all officers and staff walked their way through nature, sporting white caps and holding nature saving banners. The nature walk helps us to relax, lowers our stress, depression and anxiety levels, it increases attention spans and memory, and it provides a source of gentle exercise.
