In a significant operation against illegal sex trade in the city, the Social Security Branch of Nagpur Crime Branch raided a unisex spa operating in Sitabuldi and busted a sex racket running under the guise of massage services. The raid led to the rescue of four women and the arrest of one accused woman involved in the operation.
The action was carried out on July 14, 2025, between 4:21 PM and 8:47 PM, at the Metro Spa Health and Wellness Center for Unisex, located on the second floor of Tourist Plaza Building, Shop No. 4/5. Acting on credible intelligence, the Crime Branch team laid a trap and raided the premises, confirming reports of immoral activities.
During the raid, police arrested Aarti Akshay Marskolhe (30), a resident of Gopal Nagar, Nagpur, for allegedly facilitating prostitution from within the spa center. A case has been registered against her under Section 143(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act (PITA).
Police also seized materials worth ₹37,730, which were used in the operation. The rescued victims were immediately sent for medical examination, and all parties involved—accused, victims, and seized items—were handed over to Sitabuldi Police Station.
Officials confirmed that further investigation is underway to trace other individuals possibly connected to the racket. Sources indicate that more arrests could follow as police expand the probe into the use of spa fronts for sex trafficking in the city.
