On behalf of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, on the occasion of the anniversary of the renovation of the Gandhibagh Park, is organising 21st edition of All India Poets meet on December 25 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.The function will be inaugurated by the hands of Sandeep Joshi, city Mayor. Deputy Mayor Manisha Khate, Standing Committee Chairperson Pradip Pohane, Sandeep Jadhav, Opposition leader Tanaji Onewe, Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar, Coordinator of the program, Dayashankar Tiwari, will be present in the meet.This year, renowned poets from across the country will be presenting their masterpieces. Senior poet Satyanarayana Sattan from Indore, Tejanarayan Sharma from Madhya Pradesh, Surendra Yadvendra from Rajasthan, Ailesh Awasthi, a from Agra, Dyashankar Maun from Nagpur, Ankita Chingari from Rajashthan along with many more will enthrall the audience with all  their poems and comedy.
This meeting is organized every year since 1998. So far around 103 poets from across the country have presented their compositions at this meeting.
