Children initiate mission to keep Arvi city clean

by TLN Team December 24, 2019
written by TLN Team December 24, 2019

A noble initiative from children, as it has been reported that a group of children in Arvi Tehsil of Yavatmal district has resorted to an initiative to keep the place clean. They have commenced the cleaning programmes like collection of garbage from roadside and dumping it at the designated places and dustbins.

As per information, the civic administration is taking not that serious approach in cleanliness drive. And even the public is not much concerned towards the initiative. And the apathy of both the parties are in real sense motivated the children to take the noble initiative. For completing the task, the children have formed a group called ‘Paryavaran Mitra’.As per information, the members of the group  visit from street to street on every Sunday to collect garbage and dumping it in the dustbins. They have also appealed the shop keepers to not to throw garbage in open space and dump it in dustbins only.

In other words, we can say that the children are set an example for the society. And city social activist Asif Chavan has arranged gloves for them. And all the environmental activists of the city have extended their all possible support to them.
