It has been reported that the ‘Sultan’ tiger will be sent to Borivali National Park. As per information, the Borivali Park has three tigresses Bijli, Mastani and Laxmi and the authorities are in search for a tiger for breeding. And the administration has requested the Gorewada wildlife rescue centre to send Sultan.
As per sources, after getting approval from the authority the tiger will be sent to Mumbai on Tuesday. On Sunday, the RFO Vijay Barabde, veterinary doctor Shailesh Pethe, Vaibhav Patil, Sanjay Gaikwad came and after the medical check-up Sultan is handed over to the team.
As per official source, the Maharajbag zoo, where the lonely tigress Jaan is residing officials have requested the Gorewada management to send a tiger for the breeding purpose.
