Dharampeth Science College organised a guest lecture on Cancer and it’s prevention under the aegis of Lifelong learning project. The guest speaker was Dr.Chandrashekhar Gaiki from Bankok.Dr.Gaiki is innovative entrepreneur and is settled in Bankok since last 25 years.Although he is M.tech.from UDCT Mumbai University but is alumnus of our college.He has done out of his interest course on naturopathy and is D N also. Due to his keen interest in the dreaded disease cancer, (it’s causes, prevention and treatment) he is delivering lectures in colleges, schools and organisations for spreading awareness about it.He has actively participated in the conferences and cancer world summits on number of occasions. In his speech he explained in a simple manner that cancer is not a disease but a deficiency caused due to vit-B17 and threw light on how you can manage this by changing your lifestyle , controlling diet, exercising and doing pranayam regularly. He also explained how to maintain our body alkaline, which food is rich in vitamin B17 and practically demonstrated easy steps of doing pranayam even when in work place.
The lecture provided insights to all the students and staff members about cancer.The life’s mission of Dr.Gaiki is to spread awareness about prevention of cancer.
The program was conducted by Dr.Vaishali Meshram, Convener lifelong learning project. Dr. Akhilesh Peshwe, Principal, Dr.Archana Kulkarni Vice Principal of senior college, Mrs.Vinaya Kashikar Vice Principal junior college and Dr.R.B.Lanjewar IQAC coordinator of the college were prominently present on the occasion. The program concluded with Vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Archana Kulkarni, Vice Principal of the college.
