The new Municipal Commissioner of Nagpur civic body Tukaram Mundhe has strengthened the rules for the employees of civic body. As per information, he had recently warned the employees and issued few circulars explaining them their duties and follow ups related to their work. While issuing the circular he also mentioned to take the word seriously or face the action.
Mundhe had released four circulars on Thursday, prohibiting the display posters on walls, work table and work stations. In one of the circulars it was also mentioned that the employees of NMC will have to take permission to leave the city (headquarters) even on public holidays.
If at all the employee is on an unapproved leave the salary will be cut, also if the employee is seen reporting late for three days in a month the salary of a whole day will be cut, they are also expected to use the mandatory governance system made for officers and employees, all employees have to share work related necessary information with the department heads and administration.
The civic chief has also urged the administration department to release the salary of the NMC employees and officers, only after going through the biometric systems report of attendance. So in order to maintain the punctuality, Mundhe has ordered the employees to follow every rule made for them.
He has also directed to the sanitation department to not to pick up the garbage from the citizens if their garbage is not segregated and not separated within dry waste and wet waste.
