Young Ayush Jugele triumphed in the Sachin Salunkhe Memorial Rapid Chess Tournament organised by Annasaheb Gundewar College at Dadasaheb Kannamwar Hall, Katol Road, Chhaon.
Jugele secured the highest seven points to win the title. Pramod Dhamgaye finished runners-up with 6.5 points whereas veteran YM Shyamkuwar achieved third place with six points. In the last round, Jugele defeated Shyamkuwar whereas Dhamgaye recorded a victory over Suhan Deshpande. Kawaljeet Singh MAras outclassed Praveen Shrirame.
The prize was distributed by hands of Rankrushna Salunkhe. Officiating principal of Annasaheb Gundewar College Dr. B V Shrigiriwar, Kanta Salunke, Ashokrao Salunke, chief arbiter  Pravin Pantawan, assistant arbiter Shrikant Bagde,  Swati Kumbhalkar and others.
