Maha Metro in association with MIHAN jointly organised Maha Metro marathon. The event was launched today by Dr. Brajesh Dixit, Managing Director of Maha Metro, at the MIHAN campus. A large number of people participated in this race, After the launch, the Managing Director Dr. Dixit inspected the stalls of the Maha Metro and reviewed the arrangements made there. Other guests also visited the stalls of the metro.
The event witnessed great enthusiasm from people of all age groups. The participants wearing marathon t-shirts and tracksuits were seen heading towards the Orange Line station of the Metro On behalf of Maha Metro, a train was arranged for Birdharan from Burdi Interchange to Khapri Metro Station at 5.45 am and 6 am. A large number of people boarded the metro from Sitaburdi, Jai Prakash Nagar, AirPort, AirPort South, New Airport Station. Also, vehicles were made available for feeder service at Khapri station.
Under this function organized near the Mihan administrative building, an attractive stall for feeder servicing and Maha Card distribution was installed near the entrance of Maha Metro. Under the feeder service provided by Maha Metro, the facility of a trial of e-rickshaws, mobiles, e-cycles was provided in the stall.
Employees of MIHAN in the large numbers registered for the Maha Card. They pledged to use the metro instead of using private vehicles to reach their destination from MIHAN. Various measures are being taken by Maha Metro to promote the Metro and encourage citizens to use metro services.
Director (Projects) Mr. Mahesh Kumar, Director (Finance) Mr. S. Sivamathan, Director (Rolling Stock) Mr. Sunil Mathur, and Executive Director (Administration) Mr. Anil Kokate were also present during the event.
