Rishika Bodele Ace swimmer of Orange City is going to represent RTM Nagpur University at the 1st University Khelo-India Games 2020 scheduled at Bhuvaneshwar. These games are organised by the Central Sports & Youth Welfare Ministry of India 1st time for University students in order to search a talent for the coming Asian & Olympic Games for different sports discipline. Rishika is among the two swimmers from the city to representing RTMNU in 1st University Khelo-India Games.
Rishika a 1st year student of Dharampeth Science College Nagpur is a regular member of Aqua Sports Club. Rishika had her consecutive representation as the Maharashtra Team member in the SGFI National and was the member of Maharashtra Team at the U/17 Khelo-India Games held at Delhi in the year 2018. This is her 1st year of representation to RTMNU at All India Inter University Swimming Championship 19-20 in 3 events 50,100 & 200 Mts Breaststroke. Where she gave her excellent performance in all events and won a Bronze medal at this All India Swimming Championship in 50 Mts Breaststroke for RTMNU. On the basis of her excellent performance at the All India Inter University Aquatic Championship, Rishika got selected to represent RTMNU at the 1st University Khelo-India Games 2020 in all the three events 50,100 & 200 Mts Breaststroke. The swimming events of this game is starting from tomorrow Sunday, 23rd February 2020.
Rishika Bodele who is regular member of Aqua Sports Club practicing regularly under the able guidance of NIS Coach Dr. Pravin Lamkhade Lect. in Phy. Edu. RIB College Kuhi. Asst. She is taking her fitness training under the able guidance of NIS Certified Fitness Trainer Shri Sachin Deshmukh. Dr. Pravin Lamkhade was the Coach of RTMNU Girls Swimming Team at the All India Inter University Aquatic Champioship this year and is the coach for this Khelo-India Games Swimming team too.Rishika thanks the NIT Swimming Pool Authority (Sportian Academy of Sports Excellence) for their kind support and providing the wonderful swimming facility.
