After failed to pay the outstanding taxes, the civic administration of the city seized 38 plots in Khamla area of the city on Sunday. As per information, inspite of many notices, the plot owners had failed to pay the taxes amounting Rs.35.44 lakh.
The plots are located in Nagbhoomi and Jetvan housing societies in Khasra number 74.And they have also taken action against the shops which are put up on the road in Jaytala bazaar which create problems for traffic.As per information, the Laxminagar zone squad razed the shops and given a strict warning to them.
Montina shoes shop on Sitabuldi main road is in default for Rs.1.90 lakh in taxes.Even after notices and they are failed to pay the tax. Due to this the NMC officials raided the shops and immediately after the action the shop owner paid the cheque of outstanding dues.
