Kirit N. Kalyani has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Nagpur Branch of WIRC for the year 2020-21.
Saket Bagdia is elected as Vice Chairman, CA. Jiten Saglani as Secretary while CA. Sanjay M. Agrawal as Treasurer. Other Managing Committee Members include CA. Akshay Gulhane as Chairman- WICASA, CA Harish Rangwani, Managing Committee Member, CA. Suren Duragkar, Immediate Past Chairman and CA. Abhijit Kelkar, RCM as ex – officio members of the Managing Committee of Nagpur Branch of ICAI, informs a press release.
Kirit Kalyani, firm believer of – “Motivation is what gets you started. Commitment is what keeps you goingâ€, after assuming the charge, shared his proud feelings to chair the prestigious Branch of the Institute. Duly remembering the continuing blessings and support of parents and family members, friends on one hand and direct or indirect support from the colleagues in a profession on the other, he assured that the members would find the Branch, scaling new heights in the coming year.
He further informed that during the year the committee would thrust on organizing programmes and events for members and students, which will ensure lending upper edge in a professional arena on one hand and effective connect among the members of CA Pariwaar resulting in required networking and pooling of resources, as well, on the other. He remarked to find more effective ways of ensuring effective communication modes, amongst members in profession and students as well.
Further, he remarked that required interaction with various Government & Semi-Government Authorities & departments will be forming a crucial part of professional activities during the year, to have effective dialogue amongst the implementing authorities on one hand and the true facilitators on the other. This, in turn, can take due care of playing a crucial role in ensuring proud dream of the Indian Government of achieving the USD 5 Trillion Economy, at the earliest juncture possible.
He assured that the branch during the year would take initiatives that combine the experience of the Senior Members with the enthusiasm of Young Members, ensuring overall development of the professional community.
Chairman Kalyani, without failing to acknowledge the members for reposing faith in him, reiterated his commitment to serve, in the required holistic way. He went further to add to his words from the desk of Chairman, Nagpur Branch, that the guidance and expectations percolating from National and Regional Authorities of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, will be duly followed to achieve the envious benchmarks on all fronts including on social front, as well. He also thanked CA. Abhijit Kelkar, Regional Council Member for his continuous guidance & support in organizing various activities & programmes of Nagpur Branch. He further thanked CA. Jaydeep Shah & CA. Ashok Chandak, Hon. Past Presidents and Past Chairmen for continuous guidance to the Branch.
Chairman CA Kirit Kalyani, reiterated that the Branch has strong values with a proper mix of senior and young members, who are available as and when needed for the sake of profession and society at large. This makes him confident and committed enough to serve the fraternity in the best manner possible and to believe that the Year 2020 shall be one of the most happening year of Nagpur Branch.
