Mechanical wins DRM Cup cricket tourney

Mechanical department emerged winner in Inter-Departmental DRM Cup Tennisball Cricket Tournament organised by South Eastern Railway Sports Association at Motibagh ground.

Batting first Engineering department scored 82 for nine wickets in 20 overs. b Pande top scored with 21 runs whereas  Tushar & Ghanshyam scored 14 runs each.

Naved took a hat-trick and  was awarded Man of the Match Final. Chasing the total Mechanical Diesel achieved the target in last over with major contribution from Sunil Sharma( 26) , Lucky (24) and Ankit Tiwari (20) .

Mechanical Diesel won A cash prize of Rs. 12,000 along with trophy and runners up team won cash prize of Rs. 9,000 and trophy.       DRM  of SE Railway Shobhana Bandopadhayaya was the chief guest for the prize distribution ceremony.
On this occasion ADRM Y H Rathod,  senior sports officer DSTomar, sports secretary SECRSA  Pranay Kokash, joint secretary Rajesh Bihari  and Radhey Shukla, assistant sports secretary  A. Sarwate and  S. Rai along with  other managing committee members S. Rao, P. Meher, Y Chandurker, A Kale, Shrinivas Rao, Chandrashekhar, L Chickle, A. Naidu, Chandan Nirmal, R. Yadav, S. Thakre, Chandrashekhar  Atram, S.Yadav were present.
