Telecom companies like Jio, Airtle, BSNL, Vodafone have set a pre-call announcement about the COVID-19 and preventive measures to be taken by one to avoid being in contact with one affected.
The message suggests one to take precautionary measures like washing hands with soap to avoid spreading coronavirus, wearing protective masks. Further, users can reach out to the nearest health facility or dial the helpline number 011-23978046 to get more details.
Although many users are trying out new ways to avoid the audio clip and go back to the normal caller tune. Currently, there is no way to stop the message from repeatedly playing every time you make a call.
