Heronary Club of The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School Organises “Bird Watching Activity” at Gorewada Lake
The Heronary Club run by The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School conducts various activities such as Bird Watching, Sapling Plantation, Nature Trail, etc. round the year for the students of std V to VIII.
On March 7, a Bird Watching Activity was carried out at Gorewada lake by Heronary club for the students of std VIII, associated by Mentor teacher Shri Nitin Marathe, a conservist in lap of nature. The students were accompanied by Asst. Teacher & Heronary Club Member Mrs. Sucheta Shembekar, Reena Kanungo & Mr. Nishant Pathak.
Students were thrilled to watch many birds closely near the water body such as Purple moor hen, Bronze winged Jaccana, Red whistling duck, Gargany to name a few.
The activity was fruitful under the guidance of Chairman Shri Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Mrs. Rupali Hingwe and Head Mistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye.
