The carcass of an injured tiger was found in a field at Bamani village under Gondpipari tehsil near Chandrapur district today evening.
Receiving the information, senior forest department officials arrived at the spot to inspect the area. According to the information, three tiger victims have been reported in the area in the last four months.
The animal was spotted today evening when Pundalik Madavi the field owner came to pluck vegetables from the field. He immediately informed the forest department.
