To tackle the issue of coronavirus infection, a meeting conducted at divisional commissionerate on Monday to decide on the action plan. As per information, during the meeting it was decided to set up a 100-bed high-isolation ward for such patients at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Guardian minister Nitin Raut who was chaired the meeting said that many facilities are arranged at the GMCH for the treatment of this deadly virus. In this juncture, instructions have been given to provide separate superimposed rooms of 100 beds capacity and reserve 1500 beds. The minister also interacted with doctors, representatives of NGOs, and different administrative heads of the city.
In this tough situation, the service of the doctors who practise private is very important and the minister appealed their cooperation for treatment in the medical college. Also asked to offer their expertise against the pandemic and provide services for the coronavirus suspects in the MLA hostel.
